PANEUM Experience the wonder of bread
The Panuem is a baking museum of the Kornspitz AG in St.Florian/Asten, which shows various exhibitions on the millennia-old history of bread.
Technical execution
The supporting structure is a wooden corpus milled in 3D with a thickness of 400 mm, which was made by the company Wiehag (Altheim/Austria).
The described wooden corpus was further sealed by us with a vapour diffusion-tight layer, on which a further shaping distance substructure in the form of punched steel sheets with a thickness of 2.0 mm from our own development and production was then attached. This spacer substructure is insulated throughout the entire structure.
The following supporting shell made of punched steel sheets was adapted to the geometry of the substructure and fixed to the spacer substructure. A further bitumen-based sealing layer ensures the tightness of the entire structure.
Finally, the external and visible stainless steel shingles (approx. 3680 pieces), each one unique, were created in the exact shape, edged and placed in the exact position.
