Library Gundelsheim extension building
The newly built extension provides space for the necessary areas for media, office, sanitary area and output. Adapted from the appearance of a barn in appearance, internal structure and construction, it fits in with the residential building and connects the areas with each other.
Technical execution
At first glance, the conversion and expansion of the historic residential building into a library does not give the impression of involvement on our part. On closer inspection, however. On closer inspection, however, it becomes apparent that it is our roof cladding that forms the basis for the contemporary building envelope of the double gable structure made of rough wood.
