Hotel Krallerhof New spa area
Surrounded by the Pinzgau and Kitzbühel grass mountains lies the 5-star Hotel Krallerhof in Leogang, Austria. Their new 2,500 m2 spa area with an infinity pool invites you to swim in new dimensions. The building houses several saunas and water areas with different focuses. A newly created natural lake brings dragonflies and butterflies back to the mountainside. A belt of plants has been planted on a third of the water surface. The special feature: This natural oasis is only filled once with its own domestic spring, the natural cycle of evaporation and precipitation then regulates the water level by itself.
We were commissioned to design and execute the biaxially curved and equally curved roof edge formation made of polygonally segmented elements in 4mm thick aluminum on a water-bearing sub-roof construction.
