The approximately 7,500 stainless steel shingles placed on the roof have been individually and precisely manufactured for this theatre. Hamburg's sky is reflected in them: sometimes stormy grey, sometimes cloudy white, sometimes sky-blue or even sunshine - as versatile as the city itself.
